Archant

Do you dare take on the 175ft bungee jump in Bideford next month?

VISITORS to Bideford Water Festival are being invited to wet their hair – if they dare, on a 175ft bungee jump.

The platform will be a brand new addition to the festival on July 20, and will be suspended over the River Torridge.

Steve Corless, festival organiser, said: “We are really excited about the event. It will be a great spectacle and we are sure the people of North Devon will rise to the challenge in aid of such worthwhile charities.”

The bungee jump will be the main feature of the day with other water-based activities including stand-up paddleboarding and power boats.

The bungee is open to anyone over the age of 14. For more information or to register visit www.bidefordrotary.co.uk or contact Richard: rich@richwilliams.co.uk or 07900 172858.

Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Clubs and groups will be accommodated where possible.
