BREAKING NEWS: Serious accident at North Molton

Road remains closed following 8am accident.

TWO people sustained what are being described as serious injures following a crash near North Molton earlier this morning (Friday).

Police, ambulance and fire services were called to the scene, close to the junction with the A361 North Devon Link Road and the Riverside Caravan Park.

Police received reports that a blue Peugeot 306 had left the road at around 8.10am.

Officers alerted other emergency services to tend to two male casualties. Emergency services are still on scene. The air ambulance also attended.

The North Molton road is closed and diversions are in place.
