Brave men and women are being asked to grit their teeth and get their legs waxed in aid of Bideford Bay Children’s Centre.

The sponsored event takes place at All Area Taxis in Bridgeland Street, Bideford, on Friday between 10am-2pm.

The children’s centre provides support, advice and fun activities for children and families in the area, with the money raised at the ‘defuzzing fundraiser’ going to the centre’s groups for dads and young parents.

Helen Hallam, children’s services manager at Action for Children, said: “This event is a fantastic way for both men and women who are brave enough to de-fuzz in time for summer to help local children and families in Bideford.”

If you would like to take part contact Bideford Bay Children’s Centre on 01237 425 752 to collect a sponsorship form and register for the event.
