Tyspane scores highly on independent review website.
TYSPANE has been ranked as the highest rated nursing home in Devon according to the ‘Trip advisor of care homes’ website.
Independent review site Carehome.co.uk has ranked the Braunton home with a high scoring 9.5 out of 10, based on 19 recommendations from Tyspane residents or their families.
Andrew Kirby, general manger at Tyspane, said every care home in the county was listed on the Carehome.co.uk site: “It’s about the entire experience of life in the home, and ensuring we provide the highest standard of care possible to our residents,” he said.
“Regular meetings with service users and their families, a comprehensive activity plan, with lots of outside entertainers, and a full physiotherapy service is standard. The food is of the highest quality, and we use only the best ingredients.
“Life shouldn’t stop when people get old, and we are here to make sure it’s a fresh start to a better future.”
Davina Ludlow director of carehome.co.uk added: “We are very pleased for Barchester and Tyspane Care Centre. The number of recommendations they have received is testament to the hard work of all the staff there. Keep up the good work.”
In Torridge, Donnington House at Westward Ho! also scored highly in the residential care only category, achieving a 9.6 rating from its reviews.
