All things wheeled at the recreation ground in Braunton on Sunday, July 28.

ALL things wheeled will be rolling towards Braunton North Devon on Sunday with the return of the popular Braunton Wheels event.

Last year more than 150 exhibits from the ancient to the modern trundled, zoomed and zipped to Braunton Recreation Ground, and organisers hope to have plenty for visitors to see and do.

This event is not just for ‘petrol heads’, but for the whole family, with the famous Braunton Caen Rotary barbecue alongside numerous stalls, sideshows and displays, plus an auto jumble.

Wheels was started in 1995 by local motoring enthusiasts and after a short break was revised by the Calvert Trust. Caen Rotary Club took it over last year.

Proceeds from the event will go to Devon Freewheelers plus other Rotary charities.

“We welcome entries from anyone with anything wheeled - cars, motorbikes, tractors, old trade vehicles, we hope to attract record number of different wheeled items, indeed if it has wheels you can show it,” said Jan Lewis of Caen Rotary.

“Do you have an old push bike, go-kart, old caravan, fire engine, horse cart or even a treadle sewing machine that you would like to exhibit?”

If you would like to show off your wheeled pride and joy, visit www.brauntoncaenrotary.co.uk or call 01271 815721.
