Boat club raises funds for lifeboat

The Kenwith Castle Model Boat Club rallied around to raise £400 for Appledore Lifeboat Station.

KENWITH Castle Model Boat Club has presented a cheque for £400 to the Appledore Lifeboat Station.

The club raised £365 during a model boat display and collection at Morrisons in Bideford and topped up the rest from club funds.

David Hunter, model boat club secretary, thanked Morrisons’ customers for their generosity.
