Annual charity draw sees a huge response from the people of North Devon.

THE annual Barnstaple Lions Christmas Draw has raised more than £4,500 for local good causes.

For the past several weeks club members have been selling tickets for the draw outside Marks and Spencer in the High Street, with permission from the store.

The four winners were awarded their prizes of Marks and Spencer vouchers at the store too. The £300 first prize went to Sue Davies, second was Audrey Dening with £75, third Mrs Burns £50 and fourth Machala Willis £25.

Barnstaple Lions Club President Andy Shiner thanked the people of North Devon plus Marks and Spencer for their generous support of the draw.
