A BARNSTAPLE girl has completed a 34 mile bike rides raising more than £700 for the Childrens’ Hospice South West.

Last week the Gazette reported how 10-year-old Hope Unstead was planning to cycle from Braunton to Torrington and back to Barnstaple along the Tarka Trail.

Her dad Andy Unstead confirmed Hope completed the ride in three hours and 42 minutes and was ‘very happy all the way around’.
