Barnstaple’s Pop Up Museum is inviting North Devon residents to share their memories and pictures of life in the region at a series of workshops in March.

The informal memory workshops will be held on Thursdays at 11am at the Pop Up in Bridge Chambers by The Strand.

On March 1, the theme is Schooldays - bring along a photo of your first day at school (if you went to school in Barnstaple or North Devon) and share your stories.

On March 8 is Sickness and Health – the museum wants your memories of the old North Devon Infirmary, the opening of NDDH, midwives, GPs and nurses.

March 15 is Births, Marriages and Deaths - bring along your favourite photo of your wedding day, share information about getting married, funeral customs, having a baby, childhood and toys.

Tea and coffee is provided. The entrance is by the fountain on The Strand, but there are steps outside and inside the building, so the access may be limited for some.
