When does late night Christmas shopping start in Barnstaple?

When does the Christmas late night shopping start in Barnstaple this year? Find out when you can grab some festive gifts in the town here.

Christmas lights are being strewn around Barnstaple ready for the big Christmas light switch on.

But when does late night shopping begin in the town?

This year, the weekly Thursday late night shopping will begin on Thursday, November 23.

Late night shopping events will then run on November 30, December 7, December 14 and December 21.

Shops in the town centre and Green Lanes will be open until 9pm, and there will also be extra special street entertainment too.

The late night shopping events follow on from the big Christmas light switch on event on November 19.

Barnstaple Pannier Market will also be hosting a range of festive events throughout December.

Sunday, December 3, will see the Connect and Create Festival return, and Thursday, December 7, will host the town council’s Christmas Fayre.

Late night shopping markets will take place on December 14 and 21, and there will be special Christmas markets on Sunday December 17 and 24.
