A BARNSTAPLE based contractor is celebrating national success after being highly commended at an annual awards ceremony.

Christopher Beer Landscape Specialists received the ‘best use of Marshalls Drivesys’ at the Marshalls Register awards in West Yorkshire.

The event was an opportunity for UK hard landscaping manufacturer Marshalls to celebrate excellence in hard landscaping installation and design.

With over 1000 associated member companies signed up to the Marshalls Register from across the UK, this year’s awards attracted over 650 project submissions from 250 contractors.

After winning the highly commended award, Mr Beer said: “We are delighted to have been recognised at such a prestigious event as the Marshalls Register Awards.

“We thank Marshalls for their support in helping to grow our business.”

David Jessop, operations manager of the Marshalls Register, said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled for Christopher this award is very well deserved.

“To achieve highly commended status is a fantastic achievement as the standard this year was truly exceptional.

“Christopher and his team are an excellent example of the quality of work and professionalism you can expect from a Marshalls Register Member.”

The awards were launched by Marshalls in 2008 and are open to all Marshalls Register approved Landscape Contractors and Driveway Installers.
