National bakery chain Greggs is coming to Barnstaple - but when will it be opening? And are you happy it’s here?

Barnstaple’s new Greggs store is set to open later this month, according to the national chain.

The bakery is setting up shop opposite Primark in Barnstaple High Street.

The store’s outdoor signage appears complete, and posters promising ‘Coming Soon’ are in the windows.

When the Gazette contacted Greggs, a spokesman said no opening date had been set, but it would be this month.

Jobs are still being advertised for the bakery, which will be at 61 High Street.
