Overturned car on B3227 near Torrington

Road is ‘just passable’ on B3227 near Torrington after car overturned this morning (Thursday).

The B3227 is partially blocked near Torrington due to an overturned car this morning (Thursday).

Reports came in at around 7.50am of the single vehicle collision between Rolle Road in Torrington and Dragon Hill, Langtree.

Police are currently directing traffic at the scene, the road is just passable but traffic is slow.

It is not yet known what caused the collision but temperatures dropped overnight and there are reports of black ice on many of North Devon’s roads this morning.

There are no details of any injuries at this stage. Check back for more as we have it.
