Police on scene to control ‘traffic chaos’ this morning (Thursday).

POLICE have closed Atlantic Way in Westward Ho! this morning (Thursday) after a telegraph pole was reported down.

Officers reporter ‘traffic chaos’ and have been at the scene diverting traffic since 10.30am this morning.

A police spokesman said it was unclear how the telegraph pole was damaged and Western Power Distribution is at the scene.

It’s understood the road will be closed for some time.
