The boy suffered leg injuries after being involved in a collision with a vehicle, which then fled the scene.
POLICE are appealing for information after a hit and run involving a schoolboy in Holsworthy yesterday (Thurs).
Officers were called to the scene in Bodmin Street near the junction with Chapel Street and Fore Street at around 5.10pm.
A 10-year-old boy who was a pedestrian at the time was involved in a collision with the vehicle, and sustained a fractured ankle.
The car, which fled the scene, is believed to be a medium-sized silver car but no further details of the make and model are known.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to call the police on 101 quoting log 543 of January 17.
