Maggie May has been missing since November 8
The owners of a missing baby parrot have renewed appeals for help to track it down.
Maggie May, a blue and gold baby macaw, went missing from the Frankmarsh area of Barnstaple near Lethaby Road on Wednesday November 8.
The five-month-old parrot is owned by David Phillips, and partner Tanya Naylor has renewed appeals for the public to be on the lookout for Maggie.
“Although she’s very friendly, they tend to revert back to their native state,” she said.
“Obviously because she’s only a baby she might bite and she’s a big bird.”
Tanya belives Maggie is near Higher Raleigh Road, and is organising another search for this weekend.
She said: “That’s where she’s been sighted a couple of times so we think that’s the area she’s in.”
