I decided to get up for a sunrise early one morning, as I had never photographed one. Firstly, I thought I had missed the sunrise and I was ready to pack up and go back to bed, but that was when the sky suddenly exploded with colour as the sun peeked over the hill in the distance. These photos were the result. Picture: Cameron Osment I decided to get up for a sunrise early one morning, as I had never photographed one. Here’s our weekly round-up of readers’ pictures sent in to us through our image-sharing website, iwitness24. Some readers also responded to our photo challenge ‘reflections’ and submitted some brilliant pictures, such as Cameron Osment’s stunning sunset reflected in the river Taw and Tony Warren’s tranquil shot of a pink boat on the river Torridge.

This is one of my favourite photos of my wife and Ice, its full of movement, energy and they both look really happy. The photo was taken by chance with my old Sony phone. Picture: Dan Sykes-Gelder

Reflections are my favourite scene to capture. It's a fun way of using your imagination that's not always in front of you. I have many puddlegrams of Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas and always love finding a new perspective. Picture: Flick Cowley Reflections are my favourite scene to capture.
